When a near stock Fairmont Ghia looks this good it's no trouble at all to add it to our pages - making our job all the more enjoyable! Glenn started their transformation with the top of the line EL Fairmont Ghia - adding a Pioneer head unit supported by same brand 6" speakers and stock Ford splits for just that little bit more oomph. When it comes to the oomph department, nothing does it like a pair of 12" Sony Xplod sub woofers tucked away safely in the boot

Now some of the best deals come when somebody else is looking to upgrade and in this case Glenn scored when their bro decided a set of EL GT rims more suited his ride - giving Glenn the opportunity to pick up where he left off. Only problem was...Glenn's brother had gotten a little bit enthusiastic on getting rid of those rims - and had reduced the tyres to a cloud of choking white smoke! Oh well, as they say - no rest for the wicked and it was back to work for some more dough...to pay for the new tyres no less!!!

Getting the whole shooting match
closer to mother earth was left to a set of 'super-low' King Springs with a full 2 and a half inch exhaust
and pacemaker extractors providing the aural delights. Accenting
that super-low stance is an ultra-cool blue shade provided by a under-body
neon set helping keep the rice crowd honest.
A K&N panel filter helps keep the nasties from destroying a perfectly good engine leaving money to be spent on more important things...like upgrading the tranny to handle a possible future turbo or supercharger conversion! Tho closer to home may be a set of 17" BA Ghia rims which Glenn says he plans to fit by the end of the year and we will be ultra keen to see the result of! So it seems those slick looking current rims may find a third owner after all... |
