All the way from Perth comes this magnificent example of our favourite Aussie car and though this car is only one short stepping stone away from George's ultimate dream (an AU Fairmont Ghia) we thought it interesting enough to show all the same.
The original owner of this Fairmont Ghia definitely had some interesting plans in store with nearly every option box ticked except the V8, Tickford fitted sports suspension and 16" wheels - making you wonder what would have been had they have hung onto it for much longer. - Not that there's anything wrong with the standard EL Fairmont Ghia wheels (in my opinion one of the best looking Ghia wheels to so far). And with a body kit, sun-roof and leather interior already in place George ain't exactly having a hard time waiting while he saves for his AU Ghia!
| With the only modification to date being as George describes it - the "crazy mirror tint" - this Fairmont Ghia remains amazingly stock and looks great doing so might I add. Doubtlessly the colour plays a major part in the overall look of the car with those looking for a bright blue having to wait until the AU3 and 'Blueprint' before being able to achieve anything similar. |

EL interiors don't come much nicer than this...
So what does George have planned for the future? "With the AU Ghia only a little over a year away, about all I plan is perhaps a 12" sub & box before selling it". Sounds like George has his aim set - and we can't wait to see his next set of wheels. Thanks to George for sharing his ride with us, and we hope the search for his next ride goes as well...
