Caught by our roving photographer at the 2000 Ford Home Coming Rally while at Geelong, this EL XR6 features just about every high-po & luxury accessory made at the time.  From the EL GT bonnet scoop & rear spoiler to the factory optioned body kit and EF bonnet scoops.  EL Fairmont number plate topper & surround complete the picture along with an after market (Alan Jones signature series?) set of wheels.  And no - the colour isn't factory!  Small touches include the relocated and substituted side indicator lenses, deleted & smoothed bump strip mouldings and fully painted mirrors (the factory versions left a small black band against the door metal).  Nice to see something different done with an XR6 - this one made it all the way down from Sunny Queensland!!!
