Sent in by Cam, unfortunately this 'lane is to be sacrificed (sold) in order to go on to a "bigger and better Ford" although Cameron did not let us know what that would be (gee - and I thought the Fairlane was big!) As a 1990 NA series II, the 'lane formed part of Cam's fleet of six other Fords (you can check them out on Cam's personal website www.geocities.com/cams_xb) along with a heap of his mate's cars and some cool burn out shots.

That super low stance is achieved via Pedders 'Super Low' springs and lowered shocks giving a 2.5" drop all up. Making sure Cam keeps his prized Fairlane clear of wandering 'roos and errant motorists are front DBA slotted rotors - soon to be offset by a huge set of 17" chromies if Cameron gets to keep this beast long enough. Factory specs include a 3.9 litre Multi Point EFi SOHC inline six with 4 Speed Auto and Limited Slip Diff (LSD). Giving it some bark is a single Super Turbo Muffler attached to a freer flowing exhaust "to give it a deep gutsy Ford 6 note."
In a move that really catches you at first -
Cam has chosen to paint the rocker cover and intake ducting in a unique shade of blue that really
works well with the rare Factory Black Pearl exterior and colour coded bumpers to give a
much better look than the usual factory fare. Finally the back windows were tinted almost black -
but even we're not going to ask what goes on in the rear of this Fairlane that needs to be so
well hidden!
Stereo wise, Cam added a Kenwood CD player, large Clarion
Amp and 2 x 10" subbies (matching the engine blue) giving that classic Fairlane 'cruizability'
with just that little bit more oomph.
Make sure you check out Cameron's other site too - the one attached to his business exporting Aussie iron overseas! You can check it all out at www.aussiexport.com - you won't regret it. Stuck overseas and feeling a little home sick? Well maybe Cameron may finally have the answer...
