Alex's EL Fairmont:

Ahhh - some people get all the breaks hey! How'd you like this as your first car? Alex did, and bought off of his father who had bought it years earlier with only 20K on the clock. Brought home Alex tells "it only spent one night in the garage before it was hauled over to the workshop to be fitted out with an EL XR8 spoiler kit". But all did not go oh-so-easy, with more than a little trouble taken in getting the right paint code "The car is actually a limited edition colour, which alters from blue to green (not heritage green)."

So new was this Falcon that "It wasn't for another 6mths or so since we saw another Fairmont with the kit..." Alex's dad added the Fairmont Ghia rims while in his control (one of the better looking factory EL 15" wheel choices). Once in Alex's capable hands, a boot mounted six-stacker soon joined the factory head unit which soon made way for a more powerful Pioneer followed by same brand speakers, amp and a Kenwood sub for just the right amount of bass. Once the ultra-soft factory brake rotors wore out it was time to upgrade to DBA's with Bendix's peformance brake pads making the most of every stop.

Alex's Fairmont nice and low as he would have liked to have seen it - before it's sale...

Unfortunately all good things must come to an end (some sooner than others) and Alex has now decided to sell in favour of upgrading to a same model XR8 - so the Fairmont's now on the market (most likely sold as you read this) on the way to bass of a different kind...turbo BA that is...
